An early morning Ooltewah house fire was extinguished by the Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department.
A motorist made a 9-1-1 call reporting heavy smoke coming from the garage of the house located at 1213 Springview Drive. Firefighters prevented spreading throughout the house which was vacant and in the process of renovations.
No injuries were reported. Damages are listed at $15,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
