The Hamilton County Election Commission met for less than 5 minutes this morning and accepted a judge’s ruling blocking a recall effort against Mayor Ron Littlefield.
On Tuesday, Hamilton County Circuit Judge Jeff Hollingsworth blocked an effort to put a recall of Littlefield on the Nov. 2 ballot.
The commission was scheduled to discuss putting the issue on the ballot, but the ruling made that unnecessar, Chairman Michael Walden said.
Littlefield is holding a news conference this morning to discuss moving forward after the recall.
