SONORAVILLE PHOENIX
Coach: Roger Gentry (4-6 in one season here and overall)
Stadium address: 7340 Fairmound Highway, Calhoun, GA 30701
RECENT HISTORY
The Phoenix have not reached the playoffs since 2008, when they opened the season with six straight victories. They went 4-6 last year in Class 7-AA. Sonoraville is moving up to Class AAA this season because the school is growing in enrollment, which could present problems against traditional Class AAA schools. Also, Coach Gentry is implementing a new offense for this season.
