MONTGOMERY, Ala.
Bentley taps 3 to lead agencies
Gov.-elect Robert Bentley has chosen state Homeland Security director Art Faulkner to direct the Alabama Emergency Management Agency and former state Rep. Mac Gipson to be administrator of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.
Bentley also announced that he has reappointed Nancy Buckner as commissioner of the Department of Human Resources. She will continue in the post pending confirmation by the department’s board.
Gipson, a Republican who served four terms in the House representing Autauga and Elmore counties, also must be confirmed by the ABC board.
