Editor’s Note: Barry Courter has a 27-year-old son who is a college graduate and a 22-year-old daughter who is a college senior. Each week he poses a question he wishes they would ask.
Q: Dad, why do I stress out so much after a test, convincing myself I did poorly?
A: I have no idea. There isn’t a darn thing you can do about it after you’ve handed in the work. The time to stress is while studying. Actually, that’s when you should be focused on studying. Learn to relax.
