There are two offices with the name Total Health Chiropractic in Fort Oglethorpe. Dr. Moore’s office is at 955 Battlefield Parkway. To learn more visit mychattanoogachiropractor.com/locations/fort-oglethorpe-.html. The practice is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3-6 p.m., Tuesday from 3-6 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and one Saturday per month.

It was an experience in middle school that partially led Dr. Robert Moore to become a chiropractor.

“I had a weight lifting injury in eighth grade,” he said, adding that he played football and ran track in addition to lifting weights. “I went to a chiropractor in Memphis. He did adjustments to help me. I was able to lift weights again after that. I won state the next year in power lifting.”

Having taken over as owner of the Total Health Chiropractic office at 955 Battlefield Parkway nine months ago, when the doctor who had practiced at that location retired after 35 years, he said he’s looking to get more involved with the local schools. He already works with Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School, he said.

“We have a lot of clients that are athletes in cross-country, trail running and triathlons,” said Moore. “I hope to help football players once school starts back.”
