Here’s your look at highlights from the weekly AP photo report, a gallery featuring a mix of front-page photography, the odd image you might have missed and lasting moments our editors think you should see.

This week’s collection includes people walking in the smoldering wreckage of the Malaysia Airlines flight shot down over eastern Ukraine, a Palestinian girl wounded in the Israeli ground invasion, an Israeli left wing activist holding an olive branch during a demonstration, a Hindu devotee taking a dip as she collects holy water, a grieving relative at the site where a train crashed into a school bus in India, killing 12 children, and Ryan Gosling’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds in London.
