Museum at Five Points sponsors photo contest

The Museum Center at Five Points is calling on photographers of all ages and skill levels to enter its photography contest, Wild River Then & Now. The contest is sponsored by CPQ Professional Imaging.

The contest is being held in conjunction with the museum’s exhibition, “Wild River: Hollywood Comes to Bradley County,” which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the filming of “Wild River.” Photographs may be of any river in the East Tennessee region and can feature wildlife, plant life, landscapes, architectural structures, or people interacting with nature.

There will be prize money awarded for first and second places and a family museum membership for third place.

Specific guidelines on theme, photograph dimensions, and presentation along with an entry form can be found online at www.museumcenter.org.

Entries must be dropped off at the museum May 24-29. Winners will be announced on June 1, and all photos entered into the contest will be exhibited at the museum June 1-12.
