The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team has added an in-state commitment from Jacob Bailey, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound kicker from Mount Juliet High School.
Bailey becomes the program’s 22nd commitment for the 2017 signing class, which includes 21 high school seniors and Mississippi State transfer Nick Tiano. One of the committed players, offensive lineman Dakota Davis, is already on campus, as is Tiano.
Bailey was named Region 3-6A co-special teams most valuable player as a senior for the Bears and was second-team all-midstate. He hit a school-record 56-yard field goal last season and played in the Toyota East-West All-Star game.
National signing day in Wednesday.
