Chattanooga police have released information on three separate robberies over the weekend.
At 4 a.m. two men robbed the Walgreens at 2289 Gunbarrel Road, holding the clerk and manager at gunpoint until the safe was opened, according to a police department news release.
The robbers, wearing bandannas over their faces and hooded sweatshirts, fled with more than $3,500, according to police.
At 11:30 p.m. Sunday a man took $50 from a store clerk at a business at 600 Ashland Terrace and fled, police said.
And the Books-A-Million store at 2020 Gunbarrel Road was robbed for the second time in two weeks Sunday.
That robber asked a clerk the cost of a book, and “when she responded, he advised that he’d take the book and the money from the register,” according to an incident report. The man fled with $600, police said.
Investigators are seeking information in all of these robberies. If you can help, call the Chattanooga police property crimes division at (423) 698-2525.
