The Joyful Sounds Senior Community Choir will present its third benefit concert to support Hope Unlimited Ministries on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary of Christ United Methodist Church, 8645 East Brainerd Road.
The interdenominational choir, which formed seven years ago, rehearses each Wednesday at noon, and is open to any retired senior adult.
“You will be surprised at the energy and life they bring in their worship,” says director Willie Kitchens.
The concert is free but a love offering will be taken.
