A burlesque show based on A Song of Ice and Fire, the George. R.R. Martin epic fantasy novels that inspired the HBO series “Game of Thrones,” will play at The Honest Pint, 35 Patten Parkway, on Monday, Sept. 12.
Doors open at 8 p.m.; the show begins at 9. The cast of Burlesque Is Coming, now in its third year, will pay homage to their favorite characters with strip-tease, sideshow acts and comedy.
Martin has given his approval to the troupe, and their tour includes a stop at the author’s theater in New Mexico, at his invitation.
Assembled by Blacklist Burlesque producer Moxie LaBouche, the cast includes, from left, Xander Lovecraft (shown here as Tyrion), Mina Corbeau (Daenerys) and Ray Bullock (Varys).
A local performer also will join them onstage.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the show.
Purchase in advance at burlesqueiscoming.ticketleap.com/honestpint.
