Police arrested a Lipscomb University student on a child pornography charge after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
A Davidson County affidavit says Tyler Carden, 18, told police he downloaded photos of naked, underage boys to his iPhone and iPad and uploaded them to a Microsoft One Drive account from his campus residence. He was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and released from jail on a $15,000 bond Wednesday.
On Nov. 10, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children told police Carden’s email address was used to upload about 50 images of underage boys engaged in sexual activity to a Microsoft account, according to the affidavit.
