Mark Cuban thinks the NBA should move the 3-point line back.
Let’s discuss the Dallas Mavericks owner’s idea.
Moving the arc back would require widening the NBA court, and I’m 100 percent in favor of that. NBA players are much bigger than ever and much faster than could have been humanly imagined in the late 1800s when James Naismith hung a peach basket in Springfield, Mass.
(Before going any further, please know this isn’t suggesting we make changes to the college court and especially not the college 3-point line, since a majority of the 3s chucked in the college game are questionable shots to begin with.)
A bigger NBA court makes sense. As for the 3-point line, well, if that’s in an effort to space the game, OK.
