Got something to say to County Mayor Jim Coppinger?
He’ll be in the neighborhood very soon.
Coppinger, who was recently appointed by commissioners to replace Claude Ramsey, will kick off his month long series of County Conversations tonight at Hunter Middle School in District 9 at 6 p.m. The events will last at least through March 14 as the new county mayor visits each district with that district’s commissioner.
Tonight Commissioner Chester Bankston and school board member Mike Evatt are expected to attend.
Mike Dunne, the mayor’s spokesman, said the event is expected to last 90 minutes.
Tomorrow, Coppinger will visit Soddy Daisy Middle School in District 1. The events will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays.
