Four gospel groups, with one pulling double duty, will help raise money for separate causes at concerts in North Georgia this weekend.
* Tonight, The LeFevre Quartet of Gainesville, Ga., is the featured act at Ringgold United Methodist Church. They’ll be joined by the Hullender Family and the Heritage Quartet in a fundraiser to help pay medical expenses for Marc Black, who was injured in a motorcycle accident.
A love offering will be received, and Modern Woodmen of America will match the amount received up to $2,500. Donations also can be made to the Marc and Lindsay Black Fund at Gateway Bank & Trust.
* Saturday, the Hullender Family and Testimony Quartet will present a concert at the Walker County Civic Center in Rock Spring. The show was postponed from its original January date because of inclement weather.
Proceeds will go toward the purchase of audio/visual equipment for the Civic Center.
