Chattanooga Police property crimes investigators have arrested a man on charges he burglarized Howard High School January 6.
Warrants were obtained for Michael Douglas, 52, an employee with City of Chattanooga Parks and Recreation Department after it was learned that he had sold several of the stolen Dell laptops from Howard High School to different individuals, said Officer Rebecca Royval, police spokeswoman.
Investigators questioned Mr. Douglas and also located two of the laptops in his Chattanooga residence. Mr. Douglas was booked on an outstanding warrant for theft over $1,000 late Wednesday. Five of the Dell laptop computers have been recovered.
