Chattanooga police said they are seeking a suspect after a child was struck by a vehicle about 3 p.m. Sunday at 3100 E. 51st St.
The 7-year-old was treated for minor injuries and is expected to leave the hospital Monday afternoon, police said.
A suspect vehicle did leave the scene. Several people at the scene described the vehicle as a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a cracked windshield. The driver was reportedly a white man in his 40s with a white female passenger.
