GPS, a private all-girls middle-high school, has celebrated May Day since 1913.

The May Queen is elected by members of the student body.

“It’s not about academics or athletics,” 2019 May Queen Myra Brock said. “We have all grown together, and May Day is a time to dress up with your friends and celebrate.”
