The Creative Arts Guild in Dalton, Ga., is seeking home chefs to take part in its third annual Low Country Boil Cook-Off on Saturday, June 4.
This kickoff to summer party, scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m., will include food, drinks, lawn games and beach music by Men of Soul.
Each team will need to prepare about 200 sample-size servings.
The Creative Arts Guild will provide bread, child-friendly foods, cold watermelon, dessert and beverages.
Teams will be judged on Best Unique Recipe, Best Decorated Cooking Area, Most Enthusiastic Team, Best Side Dish, Best Trash Talk and People’s Choice.
