A person of interest has been detained and interviewed after an apparent stabbing that occurred early Wednesday morning.
Police responded to the 700 block of West 12th Street Court just before 5 a.m. and found a victim suffering from a single stab wound, according to police. The victim’s name is being withheld by police due to safety concerns.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
