The traffic signal at the intersection of Ringgold Road and Bales Avenue will be under construction from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.
The signal will be turned off at times and the intersection will be operated as a four-way stop. Drivers are cautioned to approach the intersection with caution.
The work is part of the countywide intelligent transportation system project, according to the Chattanooga Traffic Engineer’s Office.
