The Chattanooga Girls Choir will present “I Will Life Up My Voice” tonight in First Baptist Church in the Golden Gateway.
The title reflects the family-oriented concert’s repertoire, which is focused on “lifting spirits and reminding all of the joy music brings,” according to a CGC news release.
Musical selections will include “I Will Lift Up My Voice,” “Sally Gardens,” “Sing, Dance, Clap Your Hands” and “Inscription of Hope.”
Concertgoers may bid in a silent auction that will be set up in the lobby of the church. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the concert.
Items up for bids include theme baskets; tickets to Rock City, Atlanta History Museum and Dollywood; as well as gift certificates to Porter’s Steakhouse, Southern Star and other local restaurants. Only cash or check will be accepted for purchasing tickets or for paying for silent-auction items.
