The Georgia Bulldogs will hold their final on-campus football practice of 2010 this morning before breaking for Christmas.
Players are scheduled to reconvene in Memphis on Sunday afternoon and will have three practices at Memphis University School to conclude their preparation for the Liberty Bowl against Central Florida on New Year’s Eve. In addition to those three workouts, the Bulldogs will attend a team welcome party at AutoZone Park, attend an FCA breakfast and visit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
They had a short special-teams morning workout and a two-hour afternoon practice Monday.
“It was a good fundamentals day,” coach Mark Richt said. “We treated it like a Tuesday [during the regular season] with a lot of scout-team work. We worked mostly on first-and-10 situations and finished up with some third-down work.”
