Chattanooga police charged Jerry England, 45, with aggravated sexual battery on Jan. 25 after an 8-year-old girl reported that he touched and kissed her chest last summer, according to a court affidavit.
After the incident in July at a home on East Elmwood Drive, the girl said England — who is a family member — warned her not to tell anyone about the incident or he would cast demons on her, the report said.
England, currently homeless, was arrested on aggravated assault charges earlier in January and admitted touching the girl when questioned by police, according to the affidavit.
