Andy Harnsberger, a marimba player praised as “a master of musical nuance” by the Percussive Notes Journal, will present a guest artist recital at 7:30 p.m. today, Jan. 19, in the UTC Fine Arts Center, 752 Vine St.
Harnsberger is assistant professor of music and percussion coordinator at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn.
He earned his Doctorate of Musical Arts in performance and literature at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y., and has performed across North America, Australia, Europe and Japan.
