Your Tuesday at a glance:

Good morning, Chattanooga!

While bouncing from place to place and from school to school, North Georgia native Hunter Clowdus contemplated a future in dentistry, but just couldn’t shake the pull that acting had on him.

Following that desire eventually led him to Los Angeles, where he couch-surfed for a few years, picking up minor roles here and there until he hit his big break: the role of JJ Parker in the CW’s “All American.”

“There have been some projects that may not have tipped things on the scales, but again [they] kept me going in my heart,” he said.

Here’s a story of how a youthful face, digital music and a breakout role have shaped the 30-year-old as he heads into the fourth season of “All American.”
