An Acro-Cat walks a tightrope.Ever see a cat walk a tightrope, balance on a ball rolling across the floor or blow a trumpet?
The Amazing Acro-Cats do this and more. These fearless felines are a troupe of real housecats that will pounce onto the Chattanooga Theatre Centre’s stage for three shows Friday, April 28, to Sunday, April 30.
All the animals are rescue cats or found homeless in the streets. After Samantha Martin teaches them tricks using positive-reinforcement clicker training, the Acro-Cats tour the nation in their Acro-Cat Bus.
For their grand finale, Tuna and the Rock Cats will take the stage.
The Acro-Cats have gained popularity on such shows as “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and, most recently, their purrformance with Kitty Gaga on Animal Planet during the Puppy Bowl’s halftime show.
A portion of ticket sales from shows benefits foster and rescue shelters.
