A $5,000 reward is offered for information leading to the apprehension of an Alabama man sought in a kidnapping and double slaying in Cherokee County, Ala.

State, county and federal authorities are helping in the search for the suspect and kidnapping victim.

Jeffrey Alan Wilcox Jr., 30, faces charges of capital murder and first-degree kidnapping in the deaths of his in-laws, Daniel Andrews and Letitia B. Andrews, and in the kidnapping of his 30-year-old wife, Chasidy Wilcox, who authorities believe is still being held by the man.

Letitia Andrews is Chasidy Wilcox’s mother and Daniel Andrews is her step-father, officials said.

Jeffrey Wilcox arrived at the Andrews’ home early Sunday afternoon with his three children in tow, officials said. Two other children were at the Andrews’ home as well, but they fled to safety once the incident became dangerous, authorities said. Officers later found all the children unharmed.
