Carter full-time member of House
Mike Carter has effectively represented state House District 29 for the past four years. He has consistently cast legislative votes in line with our views and values, but overall effectiveness includes much more. Rep. Carter’s legislative and life experiences have propelled him to a high level of influence. When complex issues come before the House, his advice and counsel are often solicited by other House members because of his knowledge, ability and willingness to work with others. He has earned respect in Nashville and gives our district a much stronger voice on many issues than is enjoyed by other districts throughout the state.
In addition to talent and experience, effort and time are required to be an effective representative. Rep. Carter works for us year around doing this “part-time job.” Many representatives simply don’t have the time for high levels of service due to other jobs and obligations. Rep. Carter has dedicated his time to serve our district and gives tremendous effort without professional distractions or conflicts. Mike Carter deserves another term, and a vote for him will ensure that District 29 continues to receive effective representation.
