Charles Mosses was last seen driving a gold 2007 Honda Pilot with a dealership tag featuring the number S075338896.
Detective Walter Hensley said Mosses is a homeless veteran who was given a place to live by a couple in Walker County. They were the ones to originally report him missing and have not heard from or seen him in the days since. Hensley said the couple was worried about Mosses and wanted to make sure he was safe.
“He told them he was going to run to the bank and that was the last they heard of him,” Hensley said. “We’ve contacted the [Veterans Administration]. They haven’t seen him. No one at the bank said they saw him, so we’re still looking.”
Hensley said the police do not have information for any of Mosses’ family or friends and are hopeful that someone who knows him will reach out soon to set the minds of the couple and others in Walker County at ease.
