According to Catoosa attorney Chad Young, “Project Hilltop,” a development at Cloud Springs Road and Interstate 75, will be a Costco.
The Catoosa County Commission voted to unanimously approve the final steps to allow the warehouse club to build.
Site prep would finish May 24, with construction ending 110 days later.
The Catoosa County Economic Development Authority will buy the 16 acre property for $4.8 million. They will then spend $4.5 million on site prep and a detention pond before selling to Costco for $4.8 million.
