Russ Huesman likes games in November to mean something.

Well, this Saturday will mean a lot not only to his team but to the opponent as well.

Huesman’s seventh-ranked University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Mocs, fresh off an off week, will host Wofford for senior day at 2 p.m. at Finley Stadium. UTC, which was No. 8 in the initial Football Championship Committee playoff rankings last week and in line for a first-round bye, can possibly seal that seed with a win in this Southern Conference game.

The Terriers (6-3, 4-2), a fringe playoff team, need wins against the Mocs (8-1, 6-1) and at home against Virginia Military Institute to guarantee a spot.

“It’s a game where both teams are playing for something meaningful,” Huesman said Monday. “That’s what you hope for: You want to be playing for things in November, and we’re both playing for a lot this Saturday.
