Back Inn Cafe, 412 E. Second St., will offer a Whiskey Lovers Tasting Class from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight, Jan. 14.
Host Michael Vasta will highlight distillation methods, regional flavors and distinct profiles in this family of spirits. Culinary pairings will be prepared by chef Buck Oglesby. Cost is $37.
This is the first in a series of educational tastings at the Bluff View Art District restaurant. Still to come are Sparkling Wines on Feb. 11, Tempranillo on March 10 and Chianti on April 14.
