A Marine color guard will kick off the 2011 Hamilton County Toys for Tots campaign with a special flag-folding ceremony on Tuesday during a meeting of the Chattanooga Association of Insurance Professionals.
“The Meaning of the Folding of the Flag” will be performed by Marine Color Guard, Battery M, and 3rd Battalion 14th Marines, according to Debbie Kilgore, president of the CAIP.
The meeting and demonstration will begin at 7 p.m. at the Chattanooga Choo Choo.
“We are doing this in honor of the military and our veterans, and would like to invite all veterans in our area,” said Kilgore.
Anyone wishing to attend the ceremony should RSVP to dkilgore63@comcast.net by Monday at noon.
