What-ifs
Gang you guys had some awesome ‘What ifs’ this week. It was easily enough to fill a while mailbag.
We’re going to answer two are NBA related this morning, but feel free to keep sending them as we roll into the summer.
What if Lenny Bias had celebrated with beer instead of cocaine? What if Tiger had not got caught cheating?
The first one haunts me to this day. Bias was the most impressive individual college player we had seen to that point. He was better than Jordan in an overlapped time in a highly competitive ACC. He was LeBron-like physically at 6-foot-8, 250 with great speed and a monster vertical. He was not the passer LeBron is – few are – but he had no fear on the post and was impossible for forwards to guard on the wing.
