Two people escaped from a small airplane that crashed and caught fire at the end of a runway at the Gwinnett County Airport in Lawrenceville, Georgia, according to the Associated Press.
Georgia news outlets say the plane’s two occupants were able to exit safely and were checked out at the scene of Sunday’s crash by emergency medical personnel.
Fire engulfed the plane after the crash but it was extinguished by 1:30 p.m.
