The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after finding a woman dead and a man assaulted at a home in the northern part of the county.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at 11:21 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Christian Drive, according to a news release.
Upon arrival, they provided aid to a man outside and forced entry into the residence to find two women. One was dead. The other woman is a suspect in the assault of the man, but further investigation is needed to determine if she is a suspect in the death, Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Paul Allen said in a phone call.
