Dalton police are looking for a man who allegedly swiped a cash-stuffed envelope.
According to a release from the department, a woman kept the envelope in her back pocket when she walked into the Citgo at 1246 North Thornton Ave. It has $200 inside. While still at the store, she realized the envelope was missing. She walked outside, found a man walking toward a gray or silver car. She could see the envelope in his hands. She asked if he took an envelope. He said no.
Police say a surveillance camera captured the envelope falling from the woman’s pocket. It shows the man picking it up and walking to his car.
