Two organizations in Chattanooga will share a combined $15,000 in funding through Norfolk Southern’s “Thriving Communities” and “Safety First” grant program:
Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer: The funds will be used to support the organization’s mental health and wellness program, which provides free, evidence-based care to the entire family facing pediatric cancer, according to a news release.
Net Resource Foundation: The funds will be used to support the Community Choice Pantry to provide South Chattanooga residents with supplemental groceries in a market-style setting, letting them select items that fit their household needs and dietary preferences
Last year, several other local organizations received grants, including:
› Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum Inc.
› Chattanooga Area Food Bank Inc.
› City Of Chattanooga
