KENNEBUNK, Maine — It just wouldn’t feel like the Super Bowl for them if they weren’t all there.

And this might be the last time they all make the trip.

That’s what three old friends were coming to grips with leading up to this year’s edition of the NFL’s big game: Super Bowl LX, which is No. 60. The trio of octogenarians are the only fans left in the exclusive “never missed a Super Bowl” club.

Don Crisman of Maine, Gregory Eaton of Michigan and Tom Henschel of Florida were on board for another super journey this winter, but two of them are grappling with the fact that advancing years and decreasing mobility mean this is probably the last time.

The AFC champion New England Patriots (17-3) will the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks (16-3) at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday (6:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC and Peacock). Crisman, a Patriots fan since the franchise debuted — in 1960 as part of the AFL before that league’s merger with the NFL a decade later — was excited to see his team in the game for a record-extending 12th time.
