Good morning, readers. Longtime contributor Valerie Bowers opens a conversation with a question today and gives some tips, also.

Ms. Bowers began, “We all have favorite cookbooks from which to share recipes from time to time … but if we shared favorite websites, we could share so much more. So two of my favorite go-to sites for no-fail recipes and new dishes are onceuponachef.com and sallysbakingaddiction.com. Here’s hoping you will add to the collection for next week.” She also promises to share a favorite recipe from both of those sites, and now it’s your turn.

You will note the richness in the pasta dishes below: lots of heavy cream. Do any of you have a light pasta specialty? And as aforeasked, how about successful gluten-free pasta dishes?

And one question from a recipe below. Where may fresh tarragon be found locally?

A reader named Abigal built a season of pasta dishes for her family of six, relying on The New York Times cooking section. A “simple version of a classic Italian spaghetti al Limone” introduces this recipe with shrimp.
