The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, a charity that fights breast cancer, recently decided to cut off funding to America’s biggest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.
That was a commendable course of action. The foundation promotes life. Its funds shouldn’t go to an organization that ends the lives of the unborn.
But under tremendous pressure from pro-abortion activists and lawmakers, Komen has unfortunately reversed its decision.
The activists and lawmakers were swift — and badly misguided — in their condemnation of the foundation for dropping funding to Planned Parenthood.
Some Democrat senators in Congress wrote an angry letter calling the decision a “politically motivated attack.”
