ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) – New York Jets receiver Brandon Marshall has taken to locker room after twisting his left knee following a catch against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night.

The Jets did not have an immediate update on Marshall’s status, other than that he was being evaluated.

He was hurt while making a 15-yard catch on a slant route deep in Buffalo territory in the second quarter. As cornerback Stephon Gilmore brought Marshall down by his facemask, Marshall’s left knee twisted beneath him as he went to the turf. Marshall immediately grabbed his left knee in pain and lay on the field for several minutes before getting up on his own.

Gilmore was flagged for face-masking.

Marshall led the Jets with 109 catches for 1,502 yards and 14 touchdowns last season.
