‘Resilient’ Heiskell needed to continue
Bebe Heiskell has a wealth of experience in an extremely tough job she has earned by assisting the commissioners and then being the sole commissioner herself for many years. She is from an era when values such as doing your best, dedication, fairness and loyalty were of supreme importance and when common sense was worthwhile. She has worked very hard to keep Walker County afloat and move forward during a downturn of the general economy and in society’s problematic and tumultuous recent years. She has been resilient during harsh and relentless criticism, always taking the high road.
Bebe is a person with a heart of love and concern for this county and all who call it home. She wants it to be the very best.
She is a forward-thinking leader. Realizing the future starts now, she is constantly looking for ways to put Walker on solid ground, to stabilize financially while looking for new ideas and ways to improve for the future. Experience has no competitors.
It wold be a great advantage for Walker County to have Bebe continue a few more years.
