Some Eastside Utility District customers are without water this evening.
The utility, which serves 65,000 customers in Hamilton and Bradley counties, announced on its website it had located a leak in its water system and will work through the night to repair it.
“Water will be out all night and Eastside will update you in the morning on where we are in repairing the leak,” according to the utility website.
Eastside Utility urges customers not to clear out dirty water until the utility has had time to flush out the water lines. The utility will update customers on when to start flushing personal lines.
