Ah, fall.
The changing leaves and cooling breeze are always a welcome sign. More than a respite from summer’s brutal mercury spike, they herald a season all its own, complete with signature flavors and good old-fashioned fun. Hayrides, craft shows, carnivals – they all claim fall as their favorite.
If you find yourself with a weekend to kill, or just want to get out and see what the season has to offer, here are some good bets to keep you busy all autumn long. While there’s no better time for a road trip, we limited our list to events within a two-hour drive of Chattanooga, leaving you plenty of time for some quintessential fall fun.
