A truck crashed into the median northbound on the Olgiati bridge, coming to a rest straddled across the concrete barrier. A pickup truck that somehow straddled the median barrier on U.S. Highway 27 north of the Olgiati Bridge nearly halted the Friday afternoon commute.
Northbound traffic is down to one lane near the Manufacturer’s Road exit as emergency workers try to clear the bridge.
The Chattanooga Police Department said there were no injuries.
