We were fortunate to get this month’s cover, which features Cleveland, Tennessee-born adventurer Melissa Hickson.
We managed to get Melissa in the studio in between her time in Florida, apprenticing with former paragliding world distance record-holder David “Cuervo” Prentice, and her return trip to Turkey, where she plans to spend six weeks studying acrobatic paragliding.
I am thrilled to feature a woman as the face of adventure.
