The two-story medical office building in the Village at Waterside in East Brainerd was sold this week for $8.7 million.
The 26,986-square-foot building at 2358 Lifestyle Way was erected in 2013 and houses the Skin Cancer & Cosmetic Dermatology Center and the Vascular Institute of Chattanooga. An investment group headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, organized last month as Chattanooga Medical Properties LLC, acquired the 2.5-acre property on Tuesday, according to a property deed filed with the Chattanooga County Register of Deeds.
The Defoor Brothers originally developed the site across the street from their Embassy Suites hotel.
